No I’m not doing this lazy-ass feature I just want to illustrate whats going on in my mind tonight.
Today I was supposed to do my first Tweet round-up post using the blackbirdpie plug-in for wordpress. For some reason it wont work now eventhough it has worked in preview mode earlier!
I’m seriously really tired of all the tampering I need to do with plug-ins and settings in wordpress! Hell, if Blogger wouldn’t have so much downtime I’d actually consider jumping ship to see if they are better at these things!
Are you using blackbirdpie? If you do please tell me about your experience also bloggers out there please tell me you have similar downdays or is it just me totally lacking patience?

Hmm, no. I don’t particularly use any plugin for Twitter from Wordpress. There have been many updates in WP lately, so plugin clashes are bound to happen.
We tend to do different things on Facebook, than on Twitter (or Weibo) so people need to follow us everywhere *evil laugh*
Thats a clever strategy! I like all my stuff to be available all over but I might have to rethink that.
This blackbirdpie plug-in is simply a way to embed tweets in a nice fashion so its not a new service or a live feed or anything.
yeah, but sometimes changes in the WP code clashes with plugins.
I thought Wordpress already implemented the automatic Tweet embed, but I guess that’s only for Wordpress hosted blogs.
I’m waiting for Jetpack to implement their multiple-identity comment form (so people can use their Wordpress, Twitter or Facebook accounts to comment).
Blogger is definitely better in that you wouldn’t have to worry about all these things since they don’t remotely close to having any of these functionalities
You have experience from blogger? I’d say that you would be considered as the ultimate WP guy (its a compliment!).

I actually find blogger more difficult than WP…especially blogging with mobilephone…very difficult. I have 1 blogger that I rarely updated

Hmmmm I have never heard of this plug in. And as you know I am always tinkering too!!

You and me Custie. Don’t worry, that Blogger jibberish was just a ranty expression because I was tired after doing an entire post with tweets only to see it not work in the end.
I’ll put this feature on hold until I resolve the Blackbird problem since its the key to exporting tweets in a way that they make sense in a blogpost.

Life is much better at Blogger, although we do have mishaps there as well from time to time

Maybe I’m just too new to WP, but I don’t really have any issues with plug-ins…maybe we just don’t have enough of them over there. Weird.
Or I’m overdoing everything… I do think your theme (WPZoom) has a lot more stuff built in though.
This one is really annoying since it works in that Kame and Kroten post where I embedded one of their tweets. But when compiling the post I was to post on this day it wouldn’t work on any of them.
Then the events in Oslo happened which obviously have kept me out of blog mode for a while.
